Return on two WHEELS

The past few months, even if the bike industry bloomed, were not easy for many. But, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Let's look at is as an opportunity, and not an obstacle

Following a positive "return to modified training" step, the Dieppe Cycling Centre is very happy to be able to count on the collaboration of Vélo NB and the City of Dieppe to get to the next step of our RETURN ON TWO WHEELS plan. We have received the green light to present some local events in the form of a 5 week mountain bike fun racing series.

Of course, some specific measures will have to be taken for these events to take place, and we count on everyone's collaboration and respect of these special regulations.

We invite you to read our complete document linked bellow (in French) and especially to check out the rider's responsibilities before hitting the registration button.

Among some of the limitations, we will be limited to 45 riders per start, and we will also be limited to residents of ZONE 1 of New Brunswick Public Health authorities.

Some (or all) restrictions may change a little later in the series (for good or worst).

Rider's

responsabilities

Organizers will make every effort possible to run these events in a safe and healthy way, starting from your mandatory on-line registration (24 hours prior to first event) to only posting the results on-line. Our document has been approved and we expect to follow it, or the event will be STOPPED.

Participants, organizers and others must have individual masks with them at all time in case gathering cannot be avoided (especially on the start line). There will be not designated team area in the parking lot, nor feeding or technical zone on the course.

We are limited to 45 riders per start (first come first served) from ZONE 1. Every participant must have a valid Velo NB licence. With the number of registrations, we will be having 2 starts: Youth at 6:15 and adults at 7pm. We will be taking series registration as a priority.

Race plates will only be distributed on week one. There will be no sign in prior to the races. Your plate will be your timing and COVID tracking items. No plate, no racing.

Riders are asked to show up at the start area not more than 10 minutes prior to his or her start. A special grid will designed for these events (see Return on Two Wheel plan) and the start order will be published on this site the evening before each event.
